We are involved in the community, contributing to and helping with the Bread of Life outreach center. We enjoy meeting in the kitchen on the first Sunday of the month to make sandwiches together for the Central City Cafe in Buffalo. Another avenue we reach out to the community is through participation with Love In The Name of Christ (LoveINC) in Springville.
About our Chruch
Colden United Methodist Church has a close knit family atmosphere. We welcome all who enter with caring open arms. Our choir practices each Tuesday evening at 7:00 and we enjoy singing and have fun together. There is always room for more singers. We choose a variety of music and we've been complimented on our sound. If you like music, come and hear for yourself.

During Lent and the Fall we get together to plan and co-operatively host our delicious "Fish Dinners" with all home made salads and desserts as our main fund raisers. We work together on our dinners and support each other till the job is complete.
Our worship service begins at 9am with announcements of interest, singing and prayer, Scripture reading and After the children come forward with a meditation in a moment from our pastor the children go downstairs for Sunday School. An Inspirational and thought provoking message is delivered, followed by a hymn and offering. Ending the service is a liturgy, hymn and Benediction. We are a kind and compassionate group who would love to have you join our fellowship. Our Bible study is an enrichment of spiritual development.
The women's group published "The Colden Country Cookbook" which is in the Smithsonian and still available to purchase. This is another example of hard work together, having a lot of fun compiling an anthology of yummy recipes.
Come join us anytime!!! Take Care, Enjoy and God Bless You!
Love through Christ,
